OLIVE STUDIES
Olive Studies is focused on the research and investigation of one food ingredient: olives. This collection of watercolor paintings and photography explores the colors and forms of olives. Watercolor has a natural quality and transparent appearance that brings olive oil to mind. The watercolor paintings are never the same, similar to the diversity of olives and olive oils. The paintings and photography transition in relation to the colors and shapes that can be free-flowing or formed into sequences.
